Stockton, 1930s
In 1935, Iwanaga was appointed head minister of the Stockton Buddhist Temple and married his longtime collaborator, Helen Chizuko Okamoto. The two would later have two sons, Mutsumi (b. 1938) and Rio (b. 1941). The last photo shows Reverend and Mrs. Iwanaga seated in the center.
